Thank you for choosing Second Home as your coworking space. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our facilities and services. By accessing or using the space, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Membership and Access
1.1. Membership Plans: Members must choose a plan that suits their needs (e.g., hot desk, dedicated desk, private office). Plan details, fees, and benefits are outlined in your agreement.
1.2. Access Hours:
- Everyday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
1.3. Access Credentials: Each member will be provided with access credentials (e.g., key cards). These are non-transferable and must be used responsibly.
2. Payments and Fees
2.1. Membership Fees: Fees are due monthly/annually in advance. Late payments may incur additional charges.
2.2. Additional Charges: Members may incur extra fees for services like printing, meeting room bookings, or event space rentals.
2.3. Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds are only issued under specific conditions outlined in your agreement. Early cancellations may be subject to fees.
3. Use of Space
3.1. Permitted Use: The space is intended for work-related activities. Illegal, disruptive, or unsafe activities are strictly prohibited.
3.2. Cleanliness and Care: Members must maintain cleanliness and respect communal areas. Any damage caused to property must be reported and may incur repair costs.
3.3. Quiet Zones and Meeting Rooms: Please observe designated quiet zones and book meeting rooms as needed. Keep phone calls and discussions considerate in shared areas.
4. Internet and IT Usage
4.1. Internet Access: High-speed internet is provided for work purposes. Misuse of the network for illegal downloads, hacking, or other unauthorized activities is prohibited.
4.2. Device Security: Members are responsible for securing their devices and data. Second Home is not liable for any data loss or breaches.
5. Events and Community Guidelines
5.1. Events: Second Home may host events for members. Participation is optional, and event guidelines must be followed.
5.2. Community Conduct: Respect fellow members and staff. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in membership termination.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1. Member Responsibility: Members are responsible for their belongings. Second Home is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal property.
6.2. Indemnity: Members agree to indemnify Second Home against any claims or liabilities arising from their use of the space.
7. Termination and Amendments
7.1. Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated for breaches of these Terms or at the discretion of management with appropriate notice.
7.2. Amendments: Second Home reserves the right to amend these Terms. Members will be notified of significant changes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved under this jurisdiction.
